In the 1990s, Ricardo’s journey into the yachting world began when he worked as a dive instructor for a Mexican millionaire. This experience sparked his passion for mega yachts and set him on a path toward becoming a yacht broker. Over the years, Ricardo has logged countless miles exploring some of the world’s most breathtaking oceanic destinations, including French Polynesia, Fiji, Micronesia, Guam, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Great Barrier Reef, North Sulawesi, and Raja Ampat in Indonesia. His extensive travels have given him a deep appreciation for the global yachting lifestyle and a unique perspective on the diverse needs of yacht owners and enthusiasts worldwide.

Ricardo has an in-depth knowledge of cruising grounds and marinas throughout the Americas and the Caribbean. He is especially familiar with the waters of Baja California, Ixtapa, Socorro, Guadalupe, the Mexican Riviera, Cozumel, Belize, the Bay Islands, Cocos Island, the Galápagos, the ABC Islands, Grenada, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Barts, St. Martin, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Grand Cayman, and the Bahamas. This first-hand experience allows him to craft unforgettable, custom-tailored itineraries for his clients — whether for adventure, leisure, or luxury charters.

In addition to his brokerage work, Ricardo is the owner of a 34-year-old adventure travel company and a 14-year-old yacht management company based in Fort Lauderdale.
