Dave is the Marketing Director for Allied Marine. Since joining the company in 2019, he has built its marketing function from the ground up and continues to lead the team. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the marine industry, along with an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
Dave is also a published author of the VantagePoint Boating Guides and has worked professionally as a photographer for boating companies and resorts in Florida and the Bahamas. Earlier in his career, he held management positions with a Fortune 100 financial services company in New York and helped lead a successful technology startup in South Florida. His experience spans marketing strategy, brand development, digital marketing, data analytics and emerging applications of AI.
Over the years, Dave has owned numerous boats and caught—and lost—more than his share of fish. He even managed to run his boat aground in two countries in a single day. He has made countless trips to the Bahamas in boats as small as 17 feet and has contemplated making the crossing in a 13-foot Boston Whaler. On land, Dave is an avid cyclist who has logged nearly 30,000 miles.
