Life Outside Work
He has owned numerous boats over the years and is an avid fisherman, though he has yet to land a marlin. However, he did manage to run aground in 2 countries in 1 day – an achievement of questionable value. Over the years, he has made trips to the Bahamas in boats as small as 17-foot and has toyed with the idea of taking a 13-foot Whaler across. Further proof of his love for boating (and lack of common sense). On land, Dave is an avid cyclist, having pedaled just shy of 30,000 miles in his lifetime.
