Now offered at a compelling new price, Annabelle represents one of the best opportunities currently available in a late-model MJM 42.

With just 61 engine hours and remaining Volvo factory warranty, she delivers a nearly new ownership experience—without the wait or the premium of new construction. In today’s market, where new MJM 42s approach $1.9M, Annabelle stands apart as a highly attractive, value-driven alternative.

Finished in striking Peppermint Blue and maintained to an exceptional standard, she offers the refined design, performance, and build quality that define MJM—paired with the immediate usability today’s buyers demand.

Step into the pilothouse and you’re met with the signature 360-degree visibility that sets MJM apart, creating a bright, connected space equally suited for cruising, entertaining, or relaxed days on the water. The climate-controlled environment opens effortlessly with aft sliding glass doors and forward electric windows, blending indoor comfort with open-air freedom.

The galley-up layout keeps everything within reach, making time aboard easy and social, while belowdecks the accommodations are finished with the warmth and craftsmanship more often found in much larger yachts—offering a true owner’s retreat along with flexible guest space.

Turnkey, lightly used, and available now, Annabelle is not simply another MJM 42—she is a rare chance to step into one immediately, and at a meaningful advantage over new.

INTRODUCTION

Now offered at $1,375,000, Annabelle represents one of the most compelling values currently available in a late-model MJM 42.

With only 61 hours on her twin Volvo Penta 440 DPI engines and approximately 3.5 years of remaining factory warranty, she delivers a true “nearly new” ownership experience—without the cost, wait, or uncertainty of new construction.

An early hull number, and originally commissioned for an MJM board member, Annabelle was built to a higher standard from the outset. She incorporates early refinements and thoughtful upgrades that positioned her as the model’s original “showboat.” Lightly used over two seasons—including one in freshwater—and consistently rack stored, her condition reflects a level of care rarely found in brokerage offerings.

Finished in striking Peppermint Blue metallic, Annabelle stands out for all the right reasons—elegant at the dock and unmistakable underway.

In today’s market, where new MJM 42s approach significantly higher pricing, Annabelle offers a rare opportunity to step into this highly regarded platform at a meaningful advantage. Turnkey, extensively equipped, and available now, she is not simply an alternative to new—she is a smarter way to own one.

ENGINES & PERFORMANCE

Annabelle is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 440HP DPI engines—an advanced propulsion system engineered for performance, efficiency, and ease of operation.

Unlike traditional stern drives, the DPI system offers:

  • Joystick docking with electronically controlled clutches for precise, stress-free maneuvering

  • Trim capability similar to outboards, allowing access to shallower waters

  • Exceptional fuel efficiency, contributing to extended cruising range

The inboard configuration also allows for a full-beam swim platform, ideal for tender storage and waterside living—one of the defining advantages of the MJM 42 design.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Belowdecks, Annabelle offers a refined and flexible layout designed for both comfort and practicality.

The forward stateroom features a near-queen berth, abundant storage, and natural light from overhead and hullside windows—creating a bright, connected feel to the water. Direct access to the head and shower enhances privacy and ease of use.

Aft, beneath the pilothouse, a generous guest berth provides a comfortable retreat for additional guests, complete with integrated lighting and entertainment.

In the main cabin, the portside settee and table create a versatile space—equally suited for dining, working, or relaxing. The area converts seamlessly into an additional double berth, allowing accommodations for up to six when needed.

GALLEY & LIVING SPACES

The galley-up layout is a hallmark of the MJM 42—keeping the owner and guests connected in a bright, open environment with panoramic visibility.

Well-equipped for extended cruising, the galley includes:

  • Two-burner induction cooktop

  • Microwave / convection oven

  • Dual refrigerator/freezer drawers plus an additional freezer

Positioned within the pilothouse, this space becomes the social center of the yacht—whether underway or at anchor—blending functionality with the open, airy feel that defines the MJM experience.

WHY ANNABELLE

In a market with increasing choices but limited true value, Annabelle stands apart:

  • Nearly new condition with only 61 hours

  • Remaining factory warranty

  • No wait—immediate enjoyment this season

  • Significant savings versus new construction

For buyers seeking the performance, efficiency, and craftsmanship MJM is known for, Annabelle represents a rare combination of condition, provenance, and value—and one of the most compelling opportunities in her class today.

Engines

Annabelle is equipped with Volvo's D6 440HP DPI engine system. This is not a traditional stern drive. Volvo designed this package for reliability and ease of use. The drives can be trimmed up as far as an outboard, making them suitable for shallow water areas. The economy of these engines allowed MJM to reduce the fuel tanks to 350 gallons given the standard range requirements. Another benefit of the inboard engines is the massive swim platform, suitable for tender storage. The Volvo joystick allows effortless handling with electronically slipping clutches, no awkward gear shifting ala outboards.

Accommodations

Annabelle is a classic express cruiser with primary accommodations for four, and additional space totalling six. The forward cabin features a near-queen size berth with storage beneath and a hatch above. There are windows in the topsides connecting your view with the water. There is a built-in TV and entrance to the bathroom/ shower.

Aft, under the pilothouse is a large berth with LED lighting and a TV. In the main cabin, to port is a comfortable settee with a movable table. This is a perfect office or space to a private meal belowdecks. Removing the table, the seating neatly pivots into a double berth for additional guests.

Galley

Annabelle offers the preferred galley-up design. Not many galleys have 360 degree views! Meals are easily prepared on the 2 burner induction cooktop or in the microwave - convection combo oven. There are two refrigerator/ freezer drawers and one freezer drawer.
